Goods must be purchased from Teddy Bear Treasures before any claim will be assessed

Proof of purchase from Teddy Bear Treasures must be provided with all goods that are returned for repair, replacement, store credit or refund.

 

The purchaser of Goods is the only one who will be dealt with 

Only the original purchaser may make a claim. If you have received a product originally purchased from Teddy Bear Treasures as a gift you are not eligible to make a claim.

 

We carefully check all of our products before shipping, however, if you think that there is a problem with a product you have purchased from us, our remedy for each situation is detailed below:

 

Incorrect Products Received: 

If the return is a result of a shipping error on our part you are entitled to your choice of either a refund or replacement and we will also pay the return freight costs (lowest cost option) once the product is returned.  All incorrect product claims must be made within 7 days of delivery.

 

Problems with Product  Claims: General

  • If on assessment, the product is found to have a major problem, major problem terms will apply. 
  • If on assessment, the product is found to have a minor problem, minor problem terms will apply.  
  • If on assessment the product is found not to have a problem and not be faulty, we will send the item back to you and you will pay the return freight costs and a $10 administration & goods checking fee.

 

For Minor problems

  • If on assessment, the product is found to have a minor problem we may offer you our choice of a free repair, replacement or refund.
  •  If found faulty we will also pay the return freight costs (lowest cost option) once the product is returned.  

For Major problems

  • If on assessment, the product is found to have a major problem you have the right to ask for your choice of a replacement or refund. 
  • If found faulty we will also pay the return freight costs (lowest cost option) once the product is returned and offer you your choice of a replacement or refund.  
  • Any refund issued will be done so using the original source of payment. ie credit card purchases will only be refunded to the credit card.

 

Return Authority:

All claims must have an accompanying Teddy Bear Treasures RA Claim. Please email using the Contact Us form and request an RA Number: Mark the outside of the box as shown below and include your name/order number, as proof of purchase, plus details of the claim.

Change of Mind Purchases:

Teddy Bear Treasures does not automatically offer change of mind purchases.  Australian consumer guarantees do not apply if you got what you asked for but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it.

However, if we do  allow a Change of Mind return: 

We will provide you with a CM Number. The outside of the box must be marked as below and include your name/order number, as proof of purchase, plus details of the CM claim.

You must begin the return of the item (in as new condition) within 7 days of delivery.  We will provide you with a store credit for the value of the returned item(s) once they have been received LESS the original cost of shipping (where free freight was allowed). You are responsible for the freight costs to send and return the item(s).  Please note, damage to the product or packaging, missing tags or anything else that renders the product in less than 'as new' condition will result in reduced or zero credit being allowed.

 

Change of Mind Purchases: Pre-Orders/Special Orders

Teddy Bear Treasures offers a 3 Day cooling off period on all Pre-ordered Items, you are reminded of this on your Order and advised to examine and approve the delivery time frame during the cooling-off period.  After three days, Pre-Orders/Special-Orders can not be canceled, or change of mind returned as we have incurred costs in obtaining them for you, specifically at your request. Please refer to our Pre-Order page for more details.

 

Good Returned without Authority RA or CM: 

If a parcel arrives without an RA or CM Authority: Teddy Bear Treasures Staff will examine the outside of the parcel in an attempt to identify and contact the customer. If there is no response after 7 days no further action will be taken and we will wait for you to contact us. If the customer claims the parcel a $10 Administration Fee will be charged on top of the re-shipping costs

 

Unclaimed & Incorrectly Addressed Parcels (Abandoned Goods): Australia

Occasionally we receive unclaimed parcels back from the couriers. This may occur if delivery and contact attempts have been unsuccessful. When an unclaimed parcel arrives Teddy Bear Treasures Staff will attempt to contact the customer. If there is no response after 7 days no further action will be taken and we will wait for you to contact us. If the customer claims the parcel a $10 Administration Fee will be charged on top of the re-shipping costs

 

Unclaimed Warehouse Pickups: (Abandonded Goods) Australia

Occasionally we have unclaimed warehouse pick up parcels. This may occur if contact attempts have been unsuccessful. When a parcel remains unclaimed for more than one month Teddy Bear Treasures Staff will attempt to contact the customer. If there is no response after 7 days no further action will be taken and we will wait for you to contact us. If the customer claims the parcel and asks us to arrange delivery a $10 Administration Fee will be charged on top of the shipping costs.

 

Lost Parcels

Not Delivered Claims: Australia and International, All items sent by Teddy Bear Treasures have a unique tracking number

Within Australia, Orders claimed as not delivered, will be checked against Australia Post & our Couriers records.

Where their records show that the item has been delivered no further action will be taken.  Within Australia, Where their records show that the item has not been delivered,  Teddy Bear Treasures provides automatic insurance and will replace the contents of lost parcels. For a lost parcel claim to be approved a package must be confirmed as lost by Australia Post after a full search and investigation has been conducted by their missing parcels team. and we will provide you with a copy of the Australia Post report.

 

External to Australia we do not insure, International Customers have the option of insuring their deliveries. 

If an international customer wishes to insure they must contact us and arrange and pay for insurance prior to their order being shipped. If International customers choose not to insure, no claim for non-delivery will be accepted, where proof of posting is held by the company.
